1st Edgware Girls' Brigade
The Girls' Brigade (GB) is an International Christian uniformed organisation for girls of any faith or religion that are aged four and over. GB England and Wales is passionate to help girls to become confident young women with a sense of purpose and hope by providing local groups that provide interesting programmes of activities for all ages in a safe environment. 1st Edgware Girls’ Brigade meets at Camrose Baptist Church, Camrose Avenue, Edgware, Middx, HA8 6BZ every Wednesday evening (during term time) from 6pm-7.30pm.
Within GB there are four age groups:
n:vestigate for girls aged four to 8 (Reception to Year 3)
n:gage for girls aged 8-11 (Year 4 to Year 6).
n:counta and n:spire (Year 7 and over) – 1st Edgware does not currently run these 2 groups.
The evening includes fun activities such as craft, cooking, games, singing and bible stories, all helping to see girls’ lives transformed and enriched as they learn more about God and His world.
We also arrange outings and join with other local GB groups for combined activities, and participate in Regional and National Competitions.
There is no waiting list to join 1st Edgware; please either bring your daughter any Wednesday evening at 6pm or email 1stedgwaregb@talktalk.net with any questions you may have.
